Q2: Does it work without web connector? Answer: Yes. It does use Quickbooks API for communication. So, QuickBooks desktop web connector is not required.

Q3: How does it work with our existing customers, products and orders in QuickBooks? Answer: If you want to synchronize the data first time (existing customers, orders & products) between QuickBooks and X-Cart, please contact the support team at sales@mercuryminds.com.     This is not a "plug and play" module by any stretch of the imagination. A month after purchasing it, although it was immediately installed in Xcart, it is still not integrated with Quickbooks.

    It's now been a couple months since I tried to get this working. I had to open an Intuit Developer account and set the app up there. It was complicated and time-consuming. It included setting a few cron jobs on the server. The tech support is in India. Once I did everything they told me to do, I messaged them back and asked what to do next. I did not get response. That was about 10 days ago. I messaged them again yesterday and again received no response. I checked my QB Intuit Developer account and the app is no longer there at all. Apparently, some aspect of the app was considered a security issue and it was deprecated. It has been a complete waste of my time and money and they still have my money. It sucks that I had to be the guinea pig on this app and got burnt.
