TaxCloud

TaxCloud is a sales tax management service for merchants. It is completely free and easy to use, and it helps merchants of any size comply with U.S. state and local sales tax laws. You can set up TaxCloud to handle your sales tax collections for one state, several states, or all states.

TaxCloud Features

In addition to calculating the sales tax due on each transaction, TaxCloud keeps track of those taxes and prepares monthly reports for your review. TaxCloud is also certified to meet the requirements of the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA). If you opt to implement TaxCloud for all SSUTA states, TaxCloud will automatically file your sales tax returns and remit the sales taxes to those states.

A customized implementation of TaxCloud has been prepared for X-Cart. There are four easy steps to implement the service:

• Create a merchant account on TaxCloud
• Download and unzip the appropriate implementation version of the TaxCloud add-on for your X-Cart Installation.
• Install TaxCloud 
• Run test transactions on your website.
• Go live.
