Cloud Images Storage

The add-on allows you to move all your category and product images over to the "cloud" storage services offered by Amazon or Digital Ocean.

Why hosting your images in the Amazon S3 cloud storage is a great idea:

• this reduces your website’s bandwidth and helps you avoid exceeding the limit set by your hosting provider; 
• you can use your Amazon CloudFront CDN account to get your images loaded by customers' browsers really fast

To use the add-on you should create an Amazon S3 "bucket" and specify its name in the add-on settings along with your Amazon Access Key ID and Secret Access Key (which you can find on the "Security Credentials" page in your Amazon account).

Note: this add-on requires PHP's cURL functions enabled on your web server.
