The module creates a Not finished order with awaiting payment status in the orders list if a payment transaction fails or a customer cannot get to the payment page because of incorrect payment method settings. The list of products in the Not finished order is updated accordingly if after the failed transaction the customer returns to the store and updates the cart (adds or removes products).
If the customer successfully pays for the order, the status of the Not finished order is changed to Paid. In the Order details page, the store administrator can view the order history which will reflect payment transactions and cart updates.
The store administrator can limit the Not finished orders lifetime, i.e. to specify the time period within which the same Not finished order will be updated in case a customer makes further payment attempts. If this time expires, the Not finished order just stays in the database for additional statistics for the merchant, and if the customer makes unsuccessful payment attempt a new Not finished order is created.
