Product Variations

This add-on allows you to group separate product variants into a single product based on a common attribute. 

When importing product data from suppliers like ASAP Network or AutoSync, variations of the same product are normally imported as separate products. This ensures a good data structure, accurate data mapping, enables advanced search and filtering capabilities. 

However, such an approach might impact the usability of your storefront for your buyers: they might have to scroll through a large number of nearly identical products in search results to find the exact item they are looking for. 

In order to keep the search process simple and clean for your customers while still ensuring smart navigation, this add-on enables you to group product variants based on a specific attribute that they have in common. 

If a product comes with a number of attributes, it is up to you to decide which one to group the variants by.
