Two factor authentication

The add-on integrates your store with Authy.com to protect your accounts with Two-Factor Authentication system. You can enable it for each type of accounts: admin or customer. Two-step verification simplifies and strengthens the security of your account.

• Enable the Two factor authorization for different types of user accounts

  Administrators only, customers only, or both

• Does not store your account credentials
• Increases your store security

  Even if the username and password are stolen by means of some spyware, the hacker will still have no access to your account, as he also needs a one-time SMS code to log in.

• Does not store your account credentials

  Even if Authy server is compromised, the hacker will have no usernames or passwords, as these sensitive details are NOT stored on their side.

This is how the SMS verification works:

• The user enters the username/password.
• If the credentials are accepted, another form is shown, prompting the user to enter the code sent to him/her in an SMS.
• Once the code received by SMS is entered, the user is securely logged in.
